The Weathercam video from this lunchtime demonstrates the cyclical nature of today's thermals. The sources to the left of the image switch on with clear sky and sunlight, and off as the clouds then overdevelop, only to switch on again as the sky clears. (1.5 hours elapsed around 12.00 GMT.)
