Tricky day with three distinct air masses. Blue to the S, raining to the W and towering cu to the NE. The task was NE. George did a brilliant job staying up before the start then getting back into the zone for a start at a decent height.
Unfortunately, like others, he glid from there around the first turn at Andoversford to a good field just beyond. Not first, but not last by a long straw. Only 5 got round.
