Spring came back for a day

A good unstable day, cold and sunny, and everyone who could escape from work was out flying, with 5 knot climbs and 5,000ft cloudbase reported . Most people were too busy to take pictures, but cross countries were flown, notably Will Ellis in his LS7 who after detailed study of the airmass set a task to the south west, 234km round Petersfield and Devizes. See the details here: http://www.bgaladder.co.uk/Enquiry.asp

And here's a pic from Will, at 6300' after a 6 knot climb, and on an easy final glide (58km out) near Membury.

More of the same, please!

Some of us are off to Talgarth tomorrow, so we hope to have interesting photos and tales of epic flights to share. Watch this space.

Great blog! I have never been gliding but it is on my bucketlist of things to do!
