What a difference a day makes

After Wednesday's glorious weather, Thursday was a bit of a let down. Friday, however, saw a return to very pleasant gentle, dare I say it, Spring-like weather. After a slow start with the overnight fog lingering, conditions rapidly improved with a few late morning haze-caps and a stream of bubbles coming off Marlow in the 10kt Southerly. Nothing spectacular, but just enough to slow the descent and provide a bit of thermal practice for Don and Leon. Michael, Wilf, Rolf and Lee tried their hand at soaring the Junior but whilst enjoyable didn't trouble the scorer. Up to mark stepped Yan, et voila, 30 minutes in his first flight on type. Must have been the pointers I gave him on his check flight.....
