You know how to tell it's going to be a good day for cross-country gliding? Yup, when you've committed to something else! In my case, I spent part of the day at the Shabbington Steam Fair near Thame watching gliders running the cloudstreets above. Meanwhile Dave Caunt and Anne Roberts took Duo 315 'oop North to Saltby and back via Peterborough for a 300km+ flight. Details at http://www.bgaladder.co.uk/dscore.asp?FlightID=28531. Sorry to disappoint but we didn't come home via Peterborough. We thought a landout looked far to likely so came back via Brill. Did original input at club and made a boo boo by putting a tick against PET (dooh). You didn't miss much Gary a lot of others that launched haven't put anything on the ladder. (Apart from J1M)
